JGD-BizElite and Urban Square are both very old themes, both almost ten year old themes. Because of their traditional layouts, they are less likely to benefit from new changes to WordPress, such as block patterns and more.

Even though I added a fairly recent feature to JGD-BizElite, this will be the last feature. This feature was added for an upcoming tutorial. After these tutorials, both themes will essentially stay the same as they are now.

The exception will be necessary security updates and requirements as a result of running Theme Check.

The M.X., however, is a different story. This theme, although several years old, has better potential to use block patterns, block widgets, etc. I will do this by following the recommended suggestions in Theme Check. For The M.X. I was also considering multiple new header styles to work better with the cover block. Also, block patterns will replace some of the custom page templates.

Ending feature updates for JGD-BizElite and Urban Square will free up time to work on other projects and possibly new WordPress themes.
