Earlier this year after getting my tax return, I decided to buy myself something I have been wanting for a long time– A USB microphone. If you’ve been watching some of my latest YouTube videos, you may have heard an increase in the sound quality. This is because of the FDUCE Professional USB microphone.

After searching through USB Microphones, I settled on this one because it seemed to offer decent quality at a decent price point. It is a simple plug-and-play mic.

Sound Quality

Just being realistic, you are not going to get studio sound quality from a budget microphone. To me, the quality is a little bit better than the quality from my phone’s recorder. I owned an Alcatel Fierce phone at the time of this post. The sound from this product is crisp and clear. Because I am soft spoken, I have to turn up the volume button to almost maximum, but the setting in the middle is adequate. Combined with Audacity or so for editing, you can get great sound for your podcast or tutorials (which is what I am using it for).

S sounds and pops can be somewhat loud, but it comes with a foam cover. Hey, maybe I need to use that.

I bought the microphone in a sleek black color. However, you can get the phone in pink too.

Conclusion

I highly recommend this microphone because it has provided me better quality sound than the previous mics that I was using. And, once again, it’s at a good price point– starting at about $23 as of July, 2023.
