GoldBars

GoldBars-Rev2, the latest revision, in Compiz

GoldBars is a collection of GTK based themes with gold coloring and 3-dimensional icons. It is a JGD-Black derivative. The package includes GTK2, GTK3, Metacity and Openbox themes.

The icon theme being used in the screenshots is the Obsidian Icon Theme, a gorgeous set of icons that come in ten different color schemes. The one that fit best with this theme for me was Amber.

I also created an accompanying Tint2 panel and xorg configuration files (color schemes for X11 apps).

Instructions on how to use these files can be found at the parent page. Look for themes with JGD-Gold in the title in each folder. Plus, on that page, I figured out a way to make X11 dotfile “themes” pluggable, where you can switch from one style to another.
